Hello. I'm Jessica. I've been cosplaying since I was 15. In recent years I've been doing cosplay more and trying to increase my cosplay skill in sewing for now. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to craft things like armor, weapons, and much more once I have a steady income.
I have health problems that leave me physically disabled depending on how bad they are and bring unexpected issues each and every single day usually. I have Charcot-Marie-Tooth and Fibromyalgia, both not being super uncommon, but together are a little more rare. So even maintaining a healthy and fit body can be difficult because when I have any weight hit me I become extremely sick from working out and doing things to tone my body. Aside from cosplay, I absolutely love to dance, but Charcot-Marie-Tooth can make that difficult causing foot pain and other issues with my feet.

Wow I haven't made a post in while. :o A little over two years, and my, has a lot changed.
I still draw, but not nearly as much as I should. I do more sketches for cosplay related things though. Also as a mention of cosplay that is my huge thing now. Actually, it's a major passion of mine.
Back in September last year I injured my wrists with repetitive strains from sewing by hand and couldn't do much with my hands for months after that. Anything at all would cause me pain or even make my hands go numb. Even after they healed I still get minor pains here and there from either knots or using my hands for typing after a while.

So no drawing was done today, but I did get some Stepmania gameplay videos done today to help clear my mind. I had depression hit me again today, which sucked. So not much to update on art, but at least I have this Stepmania gameplay video I did to put in my Journal log today. :aww:

So over the last few weeks I've been trying to get back into drawing like I used to do, but sadly I've had no luck. My Fibromyalgia is causing me to have a horrible time when I try to draw and everything comes out wrong. I just want to be able to draw again and I can't for some reason. Maybe something is to blame other than my Fibromyalgia. Maybe a change about a year and a half ago caused it, who knows. I just know it's tough cause I've spent hours getting photos for art and I can't even use them at this point and that rips me apart inside knowing I can't draw right now, and dancing hasn't been much better lately.
